I’m Steve Assandri — a French maker with over 30 years in high-end production and a lifelong passion for woodworking. After training at Brooklyn Woods and building a fully equipped studio in Pennsylvania, I now craft bespoke cabinetry and furniture for clients across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Meet Clint, our four-legged Chief Quality Officer. Every project is subject to his strict approval process: a sniff, a tail wag, and sometimes a nap on the job site. If it passes Clint’s test, you know it’s built to last.

My approach blends French design sensibility with museum-grade attention to detail. Each project is a dialogue between space, material, and lifestyle: noble local hardwoods when refinement is required, or durable, practical solutions when functionality is the smarter choice.

Every space has potential — my role is to reveal it.

And Clint, my basset hound, has the most important job in the workshop: head of quality control. Nothing leaves the shop without his approval (or at least a nap nearby).
